Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) backers left the game content Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer squad nudge the host Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), 1-0 in a league battle.

The Cougars (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Panthers enter the Suburban Prairie challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Oswego edged West Aurora (Aurora, IL), 6-3, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now have a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainfield North for a Suburban Prairie challenge on Thursday, May 5. Joliet West will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-3.
