Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Grand Island Vikings (Grand Island, NY), 19-8 in a league battle.

The Flames now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amherst Central for a Class C battle on Thursday, May 5. Williamsville East will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 18-5 league loss to Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 7-4.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) in a Class C battle, on Thursday, May 5. Grand Island will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Kenmore East (Tonawanda, NY).
