The St. Xavier Bombers lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Lakota West Firebirds to 1 in the Bombers league win on Tuesday.

The Bombers (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats come into the Region 2 battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, St. Ignatius gained a win over St. Edward (Lakewood, OH), 17-8, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Firebirds clash with the Oak Hills Highlanders (Cincinnati, OH) in a Region 4 battle, on Thursday, May 5. Lakota West will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record.
