North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Laney holds off Wakefield

May 3, 2022: Raleigh, NC 27614

The Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse tipped the host Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC), 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Laney upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league outing on Friday, May 6. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 18-0. Hoggard won 17-1 in their recent league outing against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)

With the defeat, Wakefield drops to 11-5 on the season.
