The Masconomet Regional Chieftains lacrosse team scored 18 points and limited the visiting Saugus Sachems to 0 in the Chieftains league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chieftains (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Marblehead (Marblehead, MA). The Magicians enter the Northeastern game with a 5-1 record.
The Sachems (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Big Blue enter the Northeastern game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Swampscott toppled Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA), 7-4, in a non-league game.
