Florida High School Softball - Hagerty holds off Apopka

Hagerty Huskies (Oviedo, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Apopka Blue Darters (Apopka, FL), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Brantley for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. Hagerty will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Oviedo (Oviedo, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 20-4.

With the loss, Apopka falls to 17-7 on the campaign.
