Cimarron Bluejays (Cimarron, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hugoton Eagles (Hugoton, KS), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Bluejays now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Goodland for a GWAC challenge on Tuesday, May 10.

With the loss, Hugoton falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Scott (Scott City, KS) to battle the Beavers in a GWAC challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Beavers enter the challenge with a record of 15-1. Scott lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberal (Liberal, KS)
