In their next game, the Bearcats play the Plainville Cardinals (Plainville, KS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 5. Ellsworth will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 1-11 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS).
