The Tell City Marksmen softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Forest Park Rangers to 6 in the Marksmen league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Tell City improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Marksmen travel to New Albany (New Albany, IN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, May 5. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 11-7. New Albany won 12-9 in their recent league game against Columbus East (Columbus, IN)

In their next game, the Rangers clash with the Boonville Pioneers (Boonville, IN) in a Pocket game, on Thursday, May 5. Forest Park will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 3-12 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN).
