The Moses Lake Chiefs softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Richland Bombers to 4 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Moses Lake improves its record to 13-3 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 game on Friday, May 6. The Grizzlies come into the game with a record of 8-9. Sunnyside won 20-10 in their recent league game against Eisenhower (Yakima, WA)

In their next game, the Bombers clash with the Southridge Suns (Kennewick, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia game, on Friday, May 6. Richland will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Suns come into the game with a 2-16 record after their 11-8 league loss to Chiawana (Pasco, WA).
