Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wilby Wildcats (Waterbury, CT), 20-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Derby for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 6. Seymour will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 21-1 non-league win over Bassick (Bridgeport, CT). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Wilby falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a record of 7-5.
