Indiana High School Softball - Union County bounces Tri

May 3, 2022: Straughn, IN 47387

Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Tri Titans (Straughn, IN), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Hancock for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. Union County will face a Royals squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Frankton (Frankton, IN). The Royals record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Tri falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN) to face the Golden Eagles in a Tri-Eastern challenge on Friday, May 6. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 5-8.
