Indiana High School Baseball - Alexandria-Monroe sneaks past Blackford

Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers (Alexandria, IN) and the host Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), saw Alexandria-Monroe's baseball squad edge Blackford by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Mississinewa Indians (Gas City, IN) in a Central Indiana battle, on Thursday, May 4. Alexandria-Monroe will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 9-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Eastbrook (Marion, IN).

The Bruins now possess a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison-Grant for a Central Indiana battle on Thursday, May 4. Blackford will play a Argylls squad coming off a 7-5 league loss to Oak Hill (Converse, IN). The Argylls record now stands at 10-7.
