The Haverford School Fords baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Chichester Eagles to 5 in the Fords non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Fords (16-5) will now prepare for their match against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Blue Devils go into the PAISAA match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy was edged by Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA), 11-1, in a league match.
The Eagles (13-2) will now prepare for their match against Caravel (Bear, DE). The Buccaneers go into the non-league match with a 9-2 record. In their last match, Caravel tipped Elkton (Elkton, MD), 14-0, in a non-league match.
