The Marquette Crusaders got by the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs baseball team by a count of 10-9 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 21-2 record. They take the field next when they host Midland for a Tri-County bout on Thursday, May 4. Marquette will face a Timberwolves team coming off a 21-2 league loss to Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-19.
Next, the Maple Leafs face the Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) in a Western Big Six bout, on Saturday, May 6. Geneseo will attempt to move on its 17-7 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 12-11 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL).
