The Jay County Patriots baseball team (Portland, IN), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Wednesday's league outing with the host South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN)

The Starfires now hold a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Wells for a Allen County outing on Thursday, May 4.

Next, the Patriots confront the Bluffton Tigers (Bluffton, IN) in a Allen County outing, on Thursday, May 4. Jay County will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 10-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Woodlan (Woodburn, IN).
