The South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) baseball nipped the visiting Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Spartans encounter the Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 9. South Warren will attempt to better on its 18-7 season record.
