The Malvern Prep Friars baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds to 2 in the Friars non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Friars (2-0) will now prepare for their match against La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA). The Explorers go into the non-league match with a 6-7 record.
The Firebirds (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Cardinal O'Hara gained a win over St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA), 5-4, in a league match.
