Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), 9-5 in a league battle.

The Lions now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Downers Grove North for a West Suburban battle on Friday, May 5. Lyons will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 8-3.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers clash with the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) in a West Suburban battle, on Thursday, May 4. Glenbard West will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 7-4 record after their 20-7 non-league win over Whitefish/Nicolet/Shorewood (Whitefish Bay, WI).
