Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME), 8-7 in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greely for a Class B battle on Saturday, May 6.

Coming up next, the Black Bears confront the Fryeburg Raiders (Fryeburg, ME) in a Class C contest, on Saturday, May 6. Maranacook will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 13-0 league loss to Wells (Wells, ME).
