Virginia High School Lacrosse - Monticello drops to Covenant

Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 16-1 in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Virginia Episcopal School for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 9. Covenant will clash with a Bishops squad coming off a 21-9 non-league win over Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA). The Bishops record now stands at 10-3.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a Jefferson battle, on Friday, May 5. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Flying Flucos come into the battle with a 2-10 record after their 10-9 league loss to Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA).
