Virginia High School Soccer - York knocks off Woodside

York Falcons (Yorktown, VA) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons confront the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Thursday, May 4. York will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Windsor (Windsor, VA).
The Wolverines now have a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Phoebus for a Peninsula challenge on Tuesday, May 9.
