Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA), 13-8 in a non-league battle.

The Fighting Hornets now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fluvanna County for a Jefferson battle on Tuesday, May 9. Orange County will clash with a Flying Flucos squad coming off a 16-4 league loss to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 4-8.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 5. Culpeper County will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 7-4 record after their 10-9 league win over Fauquier (Warrenton, VA).
