West Virginia High School Lacrosse - Mercersburg Academy held off by Hedgesville

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (Mercersburg, PA), by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Eagles clash with the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) in a WVSLA -DII East battle, on Thursday, May 4. Hedgesville will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record.

The Blue Storm now own a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. James for a battle on Friday, May 5. Mercersburg Academy will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 13-10 league loss to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Saints record now stands at 11-5.
