Virginia High School Lacrosse - Monticello overwhelms Covenant

The Monticello Mustangs walloped the visiting Covenant Eagles lacrosse team by a final score of 12-6 in Wednesday's non-league match.
With the win, Monticello betters its record to 8-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to play the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson match on Friday, May 5. The Flying Flucos go into the match with a record of 4-7. Fluvanna County won 33-0 in their recent non-league match against Goochland (Goochland, VA)
With the defeat, Covenant drops to 8-5 on the season.
