The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Southampton Mariners (Southampton, NY) and the visiting Sachem East (Farmingville, NY), saw Southampton's lacrosse team gain a win over Sachem East by a margin of 12-10.

The Mariners (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Northport (Northport, NY). The Tigers enter the Section 11 I challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Northport was nudged by Smithtown East (Smithtown, NY), 9-8, in a league challenge.
