In Wednesday's non-league game, the St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC) soccer squad tipped the host Royal Live Oaks Academy Royal Knights (Hardeeville, SC), by a count of 1-0.
The Islanders (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Christ Church Episcopal nudged Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC), 12-1, in a non-league test.
With the loss, Royal Live Oaks Academy drops to 7-4 on the season.
