Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Churubusco Eagles (Churubusco, IN), 13-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Flying Jets now sport a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage for a Allen County challenge on Thursday, May 4. Adams Central will face a Patriots squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Churubusco falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hamilton (Hamilton, IN) to face the Marines in a Northeast Corner challenge on Thursday, May 4.
