Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI), 19-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Ravens now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren Woods-Tower for a non-league game on Thursday, May 4. Royal Oak will clash with a Titans team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Mott (Warren, MI). The Titans record now stands at 8-0.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 4. Avondale will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
