The Lincoln-Way Central Knights softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Beecher Bobcats to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Lincoln-Way Central improves its record to 16-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a SouthWest Suburban game on Thursday, May 4. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 3-15. Stagg lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL)
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 4. Beecher will attempt to improve on its 22-3 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 9-10 record after their 11-0 league loss to Manteno (Manteno, IL).
