The Braintree Wamps softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Wellesley Raiders to 4 in the Wamps non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Braintree moves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Wamps travel to Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA) to clash with the Shamrocks in a non-league game on Thursday, May 4. The Shamrocks come into the game with a record of 3-4.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Needham Rockets (Needham, MA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 8. Wellesley will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
