North Carolina High School Softball - East Columbus bounces Clinton

May 3, 2023: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) and the visiting Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), witnessed East Columbus's softball squad prevail over Clinton by a count of 19-0.

The Gators now sport a 21-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A match on Friday, May 5. East Columbus will face a Vikings squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-17.

With the loss, Clinton moves to 2-17 on the season.
