Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the State College Little Lions (State College, PA) and the host DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals (DuBois, PA), witnessed State College's softball squad tip DuBois Central Catholic by a count of 10-6.

The Little Lions now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Red Land for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth match on Thursday, May 4. State College will face a Patriots squad coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Northeastern (Manchester, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, DuBois Central Catholic moves to 12-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to DuBois (DuBois, PA) to face the Beavers in a non-league match on Saturday, May 6. The Beavers go into the match with a record of 8-3. DuBois won 4-3 in their recent non-league match against St. Marys (St. Marys, PA)
