Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they host Romeoville for a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Thursday, May 4. Minooka will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Joliet Central falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Steelmen travel to Oswego (Oswego, IL) to battle the Panthers in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 16-6. Oswego won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL)
