Maconaquah Braves (Bunker Hill, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wabash Apaches (Wabash, IN), 19-9 in a league challenge.

The Braves now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lowell for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. Maconaquah will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Wabash falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Apaches travel to Manchester (North Manchester, IN) to face the Squires in a Three Rivers challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Squires enter the challenge with a record of 3-13. Manchester lost 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Rochester (Rochester, IN)
