The Chieftains now sport a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Beverly for a non-league match on Friday, May 5. Masconomet Regional will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Saugus (Saugus, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Winthrop moves to 4-9 on the season. The Vikings host Salem (Salem, MA) to face the Witches in a Northeast match on Friday, May 5. The Witches go into the match with a record of 2-4. Salem won 10-9 in their recent league match against Marblehead (Marblehead, MA)
