Memorial Red Devils (Campbell, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Newton Falls Tigers (Newton Falls, OH), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 10-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaney for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. Memorial will battle a Cowboys squad coming off a 23-13 non-league loss to McKinley (Niles, OH). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Newton Falls falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Tigers host Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 12-1.
