The Plainfield Central Wildcats got by the visiting Plainfield North Tigers softball squad by a count of 11-10 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Wildcats (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks go into the Suburban Prairie - South battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, West Aurora nudged Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Joliet West for a Suburban Prairie - South battle on Thursday, May 4. Plainfield North will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-9.
