The Montrose Blue Jays baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Fair Play Hornets to 2 in the Blue Jays non-league victory on Friday.

The Blue Jays (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Wheatland (Wheatland, MO). The Mules come into the non-league test with a 21-9 record. In their last test, Wheatland notched a victory over Humansville (Humansville, MO), 9-4, in a league test.

With the defeat, Fair Play falls to 1-13 on the season. The Hornets host Osceola (Osceola, MO) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, May 6. The Indians come into the test with a record of 2-11.
