In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Morton Potters baseball team scored a nice 13-3 victory over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
The Potters (19-4) will now prepare for their game against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league game with a 15-12 record. In their last game, Champaign Central overcame Danville (Danville, IL), 10-0, in a league game.
The Maple Leafs (10-15) will now prepare for their game against Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Golden Warriors go into the Western Big Six game with a 7-12 record. In their last game, Sterling overcame Mendota (Mendota, IL), 4-0, in a non-league game.
