Minnesota High School Baseball - Mahnomen/Waubun loses to Laporte

The Laporte Wildcats baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds to 8 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN). The Panthers go into the Northland match with a 1-10 record.
The Thunderbirds (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Bagley (Bagley, MN). The Flyers go into the Pine to Prairie match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Bagley by Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN), 10-0, in a non-league match.
