The Mountaineers now possess a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Neosho for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 4. Mt. Vernon will face a Wildcats team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Carthage (Carthage, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-16.

Next, the Mustangs face the Republic Tigers (Republic, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 6. McDonald County will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 16-13 record after their 9-7 non-league win over Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO).
