In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Morris Knolls Golden Eagles baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Parsippany Redhawks.
The Golden Eagles (17-2) will now prepare for their game against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ). The Golden Panthers go into the non-league game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Pequannock tipped Madison (Madison, NJ), 3-1, in a league game.
The Redhawks (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ). The Crimson go into the NJAC - Independence game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Morristown-Beard was edged by Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ), 5-2, in a league game.
