Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 7-1 in a league test.

With the win, Pilgrim upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Patriots travel to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI) to battle the Rebels in a Division 1 (State) test on Monday, May 6. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 12-3. South Kingstown lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT)

With the defeat, Mt. Hope falls to 3-9 on the season. The Huskies travel to Coventry (Coventry, RI) to battle the Oakers in a Division 1 (State) test on Monday, May 6. The Oakers come into the test with a record of 7-6. Coventry lost 5-4 in their recent league test against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI)
