The Nekoosa Papermakers crushed the host Westfield Area Pioneers baseball team by a count of 11-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Papermakers now possess a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rosholt for a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. Nekoosa will face a Hornets team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Almond-Bancroft (Almond, WI). The Hornets record now stands at 6-9.

Next, the Pioneers face the Pardeeville Bulldogs (Pardeeville, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 3. Westfield Area will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 8-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Wayland Academy (Beaver Dam, WI).
