In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Southbridge Pioneers baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Palmer Panthers.
The Pioneers (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Millbury (Millbury, MA). The Woolies go into the non-league game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Millbury was edged by Uxbridge (Uxbridge, MA), 6-0, in a league game.
The Panthers (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Granby (Granby, MA). The Rams go into the Bi-County game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Granby tipped Palmer (Palmer, MA), 10-6, in a league game.
