The Piketon Redstreaks baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Vinton County Vikings to 2 in the Redstreaks non-league victory on Friday.
The Redstreaks (9-15) will now prepare for their match against Peebles (Peebles, OH). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 3-10 record. In their last match, Peebles was overwhelmed by Eastern (Sardinia, OH), 8-0, in a league match.
The Vikings (0-14) will now prepare for their match against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 6-17 record. In their last match, Chillicothe was overwhelmed by Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH), 9-6, in a non-league match.
