The Springport Spartans baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Potterville Vikings to 4 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Hillsdale (Hillsdale, MI). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 6-9 record.
The Vikings (2-14) will now prepare for their match against Bath (Bath, MI). The Fighting Bees go into the Central Michigan match with a 0-10 record. In their last match, Bath was overwhelmed by Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI), 6-2, in a league match.
