In Friday's non-league challenge, the Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) baseball squad nipped the host South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA), by a margin of 1-0.

With the win, Segerstrom betters its record to 13-11 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA) to encounter the Silver Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Silver Knights come into the challenge with a record of 21-6. Riverside Prep won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA)
