The Thayer Bobcats baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Summersville Wildcats to 4 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now hold a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Koshkonong for a non-league outing on Monday, May 6. Thayer will face a Blue Jays team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Cabool (Cabool, MO). The Blue Jays record now stands at 4-8.
Next, the Wildcats face the Van Buren Bulldogs (Van Buren, MO) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 6. Summersville will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 14-7 record after their 6-4 league win over Neelyville (Neelyville, MO).
